| GEMINI (Generic Environment for Multilingual Interactive Natural Interfaces) is an EU-funded project of the Information Society Technologies Programme (IST) which is part of the European Commission's 5th RTD Framework Programme (1998-2002), project reference number IST-2001-32343. |
| The GEMINI project has two main objectives: |
| 1) Development of a flexible platform able to produce user-friendly interactive multilingual and multimodal dialogue interfaces to databases used in information services with the minimum of human effort |
| 2) Demonstration of the platform's efficiency through the development of two different applications EG-Banking and CitizenCare |
